Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 27, 2026

Got Your Call is a business name registered in Ontario, Canada, operated by its sole proprietor. This policy explains how we handle personal information when we provide missed-call text-back and messaging services to small businesses ("clients") and when we communicate with their customers ("callers").

What we collect

How we use it

Only to deliver the service on behalf of the client: sending a text-back after a missed call, relaying messages between the caller and the client, answering common questions with information the client approved, offering open appointments to people who asked to join a waitlist, and producing usage summaries for the client.

We do not sell personal information. We do not share mobile numbers or SMS consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes.

Service providers

We use trusted providers to run the service, including telecommunications and SMS carriers, cloud hosting and automation tools, and AI language models that help draft replies. These providers process information only to provide their services to us.

Consent and opting out

Callers who contact a client's business receive a reply in response to that contact. Callers can reply STOP at any time to stop receiving messages, and HELP for help. Opt-out requests are honoured promptly and in any case within 10 business days, as required by Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).

Retention

Message records are kept for as long as the client uses the service and for a reasonable period afterwards for record-keeping, then deleted. A client can ask us to delete their data at any time.

Your rights

You can ask to access or correct the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by emailing hello@gotyourcall.ca. We handle personal information in accordance with PIPEDA.
